about_sam3The Icla da Silva Foundation is proud to present "And They Said I Wouldn’t Make It: A Story of Hope", written and performed by Samuel G Roberson Jr. This autobiographical play tells the story of 8 year old Sam and his efforts to fight Leukemia. This is not story of death or sorrow though; it is a celebration of how struggles in life shape us into who we are.

So mark your calendars for Thursday, June 23 at 8pm, and come celebrate with us this story of success – A Story of Hope. The event will take place at the Helen Mills Theater, located on 137-139 West 26thStreet, New York, NY.  After the play, you are invited to join the the actor/author of the play for the after party to take place at Gstaad, located at 43 West 26th Street, New York, NY.
