NEW YORK (September 13, 2010) – More than 300 people will be in attendance at The Icla da Silva Foundation’s 18th Annual Fundraising Dinner & Dance on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Loeb Boathouse in Central Park, New York City. This year’s honorees include transplant recipient Jennifer Jones Austin, and bone marrow advocate Milton Schwartz . The evening’s program will be hosted by Rib Hillis, television cast member of ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover. Guests will be treated to a festive atmosphere with live music, celebrities, gondola rides, dinner and dancing within the scenic and beautiful Central Park. Your participation in this event would provide the needed funds to help cover the $100.00 cost of adding each potential marrow donor to the registry and continue to provide the support for those fighting the battle against leukemia.
