On March 25, 2009, The Icla da Silva Foundation held a Caipirinha Happy Hour Fundraiser at Brazil Brazil Restaurant in New York City. The fundraiser was very well attended and accomplished its goal of creating awareness about the need for more marrow donors in the Be The Match Registry. Guests also learned about the Foundation's history, actvities and successful accomplishments. Most important, all had a great time and many registered as a bone marrow donor. Other happy hours are being planned inthe upcoming summer months. Thank you all who joinned us in such important event.
