Annual Report
2010 Accomplishments
In 2010, The Icla da Silva Foundation added over 39,000 new bone marrow donors to the national registry in more than 2200 marrow drives held across the country. Working closely with transplant centers, The Foundation helped facilitate 28 transplants in the past year, making sure every matching donor recruited has received assistance and guidance throughout the whole process.
Over almost two decades, the Foundation has grown to become the largest recruitment center for the Be The Match Registry, with a strong focus on recruiting donors from diverse ethnic backgrounds. Please see bellow how it keeps expanding its services and assistance to patients all over the world since its creation in 1992.
The Foundation has achieved these numbers due to the continuing support of community organizations, multiple religion associations, corporations and individuals. Please click here to find out how you can help.
