What You Should Know About Storing Your Baby's Cord Blood Breakfast

Like bone barrow, cord blood is rich in the blood-forming cells that can be used in transplants for patients with leukemia, lymphoma and many other life-threatening diseases. If it is not donated to a public cord blood bank or stored for private use, the umbilical cord is discarded. Although the Be The Match Registry has stored over units of cord blood, many mothers-to-be are unsure of their options and don’t have all of the necessary information needed to make an informed decision on what to do with their baby’s cord blood. This fast and flat electronically timed K will be run on a USATF certified pending course and the start and finish are located near the F Train and Tram stations. The closed course is a nice loop around the perimeter of the island with breathtaking views of the East River and of course Manhattan and Queens. Organizers of the Roosevelt Island K Run Walk benefiting The Icla da Silva Foundation are thrilled with the response towards the event so far. Over runners walkers will be participating on the event this Saturday, October at AM. The event will take place on Roosevelt Island with start and end of the race at the Firefighter's field. This race is organized in conjuction with the NYCRuns.com This fast and flat electronically timed K will be run on a USATF certified pending course and the start and finish are located near the F Train and Tram stations. Um dos maiores dramas de pacientes que sofrem de leucemia é a dificuldade em encontrar um doador compatível. Todos os anos cerca de pessoas com idade entre e anos, poderiam se beneficiar de um transplante de medula óssea. Nem todos conseguem a tempo. Mas graças ao baiano Nivaldo Neto, residente da Flórida há anos, uma dessas vidas será salva. Depois de assistir a palestra de um dos funcionários da Icla da Silva Fundation, em ele ficou tocado com a situação dos pacientes e decidiu se cadastrar no banco de dados da fundação. Três anos depois Nivaldo foi surpreendido com a notícia que ele era compatível com um paciente de leucemia. Foi em fevereiro deste ano.
