The Icla da Silva Foundation

The Icla da Silva Foundation, the largest Recruitment Center for the Be the Match Registry, has added over 37,000 new donors in 2009.  The goal for 2010 is to add 40,000 new life-saving marrow donors to the Be the Match Registry but financial support is needed.   Click here to make a financial contribution.

The reason we need your financial support is to defray the costs associated with adding a new donor to the registry. Costs are in three areas: 1) registration (recruitment drive), 2) enrollment (lab testing, data entry, repository) and 3) ongoing registry communications to engage members in our program.  The total cost per new donor registered is about $100.  We do rely on our sponsors and volunteers to generate financial support for the program. 

With your help, we can continue to build the Be The Match Registry of urgently needed prospective donors. A contribution in any amount will help us. Every dollar counts! Only with your support we will be able to reach our goals and save more lives.
